La Líder entre los nominados de este año no es otra mas que Beyoncé , que pasa por 11 (!) Premios, incluyendo Video del Año por " Formation " y tambien por la categoría VMA más reciente, que es la brecha del video de larga duración, por su innovador especial de HBO limonade . Esa es la mayor cantidad de nominaciones que ella ha conseguido en un solo año.
Adele ocupa el segundo lugar con un total de ocho nominaciones, siete de los cuales son por su icónica cancion " Hello " asi tambien compite para "mejor video visual", incluyendo Video del Año en la que compite con otros artistas famosos como: Drake con "Hotline, Bling," Justin Bieber con "sorry", y Kanye West con "famous".
Los 2016 MTV Video Music Awards se transmitirán en vivo desde el Madison Square Garden el domingo 28 de agosto a las 9 pm ET / PT. Las nominaciones fueron reveladas ayer martes (26 de julio) en Facebook en vivo , y el video de la nomiandos fueron incluso pintados sobre un mural panorámico en Nueva York East Village.
